We fear the unknown, we, creatures of comfort. I find the feeling of not belonging anywhere to be, almost, a feeling of embarassment. Strange… Feeling embarassed in your own subjective reality. Acceptance and belonging are not the same. The feeling of not being accepted is much more difficult for me than the feeling of not belonging, it puts the blame for my ill feeling on someone else. Do I not belong anywhere because I am not accepted anywhere? It’s all a matter of perception.
